Information from third parties

You may choose to give us information that you have made available on social media websites. If you do, we may collect the publicly available information from the social media websites you have indicated. You can control how much of your information social media websites make public by changing your privacy settings on those websites.

Do we share the information we collect with third parties?

We may share the information we collect, both personal and non-personal, with third parties such as advertisers, promotional and marketing partners, and others who provide our content or whose products or services we think may interest you. We may also share it with our current and future affiliated companies and business partners. If we are involved in a merger, asset sale or other business reorganisation, we may also share or transfer your personal and non-personal information to our successors-in-interest.

We may engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions and provide services to us, such as hosting and maintaining our servers and website, database storage and management, email management, marketing, payment processing, customer service, and fulfilling orders for products you buy through the website. We will likely share your personal information, and possibly some non-personal information, with these third parties so that they can perform these services for us and for you.

We may share portions of our log file data, including IP addresses, for analytics purposes with third parties such as web analytics partners and ad networks. If your IP address is shared, it may be used to estimate your general location and other technical details such as connection speed, whether you have visited the website from a shared location, and the type of device you used. They may combine information about our advertising and what you see on the website, and then provide auditing, research and reporting for us and our advertisers.

We may also disclose personal and non-personal information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate: to respond to claims or legal process (including subpoenas); to protect our rights and interests or those of a third party; to protect the safety of the public or any person; to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity; or to otherwise comply with applicable court orders, laws, rules and regulations.

How do we use your email address?

By submitting your email address on this website, you agree to receive emails from us. You can leave any of our email lists at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email. We only send emails to people who have authorised us to contact them, either directly or through a third party. We do not send unsolicited commercial emails, because we hate spam as much as you do.

By submitting your email address, you also agree that we may use it for custom audience targeting on sites such as Facebook, where we show advertising to specific people who have opted in to receive communications from us.

Email addresses submitted only through the order process will be used solely to send you information and updates about your order. If you have also given us the same email address another way, we may use it for any of the purposes in this policy.

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from future emails, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email or contact us and we will remove you promptly.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to provide the Service to you and fulfil the purposes described in this policy. The same applies to anyone we share your information with who carries out services on our behalf. When we no longer need your information, and there is no need to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we will either remove it from our systems or depersonalise it so that we cannot identify you.

How do we protect your information?

We use a variety of security measures to keep your personal information safe when you place an order or enter, submit or access your personal information. Our website uses a secure (SSL/TLS) connection, and all payment information is sent encrypted directly to our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you send to us, or guarantee that your information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by a breach of any of our physical, technical or managerial safeguards. Neither people nor security systems are foolproof, including encryption systems. While we use reasonable efforts to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Could my information be transferred to other countries?

Russell Stutely Productions is based in the United Kingdom. Information collected through our website, through direct contact with you, or through our help services may be transferred from time to time to our offices or personnel, or to third parties located around the world, and may be viewed and hosted anywhere in the world, including in countries that may not have data protection laws equivalent to those of the United Kingdom. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, by using the Service you consent to this transfer and hosting of your information.

Can I update or correct my information?

You can contact us to:

  • update or correct your personal information;
  • change your preferences for the emails and other information you receive from us; or
  • delete the personal information we hold about you by closing your account.

Customers can also view, edit and download the personal details stored in their account in the members area.

Such updates, corrections, changes and deletions will have no effect on other information that we keep, or on information that we have provided to third parties in line with this Privacy Policy before the update, correction, change or deletion. To protect your privacy and security, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making changes. You are responsible for keeping your password and account details secret at all times.

Please be aware that it is not technically possible to remove every record of the information you have given us. Because we back up our systems to protect against accidental loss, a copy of your information may exist in a form that is difficult or impossible for us to locate. Promptly after receiving your request, all personal information stored in the databases we actively use, and in other readily searchable media, will be updated, corrected, changed or deleted as appropriate, as soon as and to the extent reasonably and technically practicable.

Sale of business

We reserve the right to transfer information to a third party in the event of a sale, merger or other transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of Russell Stutely Productions or any of its corporate affiliates, or in the event that we discontinue our business or enter bankruptcy, reorganisation or similar proceedings, provided that the third party agrees to follow the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Affiliates

We may disclose information (including personal information) about you to our corporate affiliates. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "corporate affiliate" means any person or organisation that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Russell Stutely Productions, whether by ownership or otherwise. Any information about you that we provide to our corporate affiliates will be treated by them in line with this Privacy Policy.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy, and your use of the website, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Your use of the website may also be subject to other local, state, national or international laws.

Your consent

By using our website, registering an account, contacting us or making a purchase, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use our website or services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change our Service and policies, and we may need to update this Privacy Policy so that it accurately reflects them. Unless otherwise required by law, we will tell you (for example, through our website) before we make changes and give you a chance to review them before they take effect. If you continue to use the Service after that, you will be bound by the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you can close your account.

Children's privacy

We do not market to anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has given us personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from anyone under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Links to other websites and third-party services

This Privacy Policy applies only to our Service. The Service may contain links to, or content from, websites and services not operated or controlled by us ("Third-Party Services"). We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, opinions, copyright compliance, legality or any other aspect of them, and they are not investigated, monitored or checked by us.

When you follow a link to another website, our Privacy Policy no longer applies. Your browsing and interaction on any other website is subject to that website's own rules and policies, and those third parties may use their own cookies or other methods to collect information about you. You access and use Third-Party Services entirely at your own risk.

Cookies

We use cookies to identify the areas of our website that you have visited and to improve its performance and functionality. Cookies are not essential to use the website, but without them some features, such as videos, may not work, and you would need to log in every time you visit because we could not remember that you had logged in before. We never place personally identifiable information in cookies.

Most web browsers can be set to block cookies. If you block them, you may not be able to use all the features of our website, and you may lose saved information such as login details and site preferences. Blocking a cookie does not delete cookies already stored in your browser; you can delete those yourself using your browser's settings. See your browser's help menu for more information.

Remarketing

We use remarketing services. Remarketing (or retargeting) is the practice of showing adverts across the internet to people who have already visited a website, on the websites and platforms they use most.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, an analytics tool that helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising by understanding the actions people take on our website, and make sure our adverts are shown to the right people. The pixel may collect information from your device when you use the Service. This information is held in line with Meta's own Privacy Policy.

Your rights under UK and EU GDPR

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you rights over your personal data. We apply these protections as our standard for all customers, wherever they are.

Personal data is any data that relates to an identified or identifiable person. It goes beyond your name and email address and can include financial information, IP addresses and your physical address.

Under the data protection principles:

  • Personal data must be processed fairly, lawfully and transparently, and only in ways a person would reasonably expect.
  • Personal data should only be collected for a specific purpose and only used for that purpose. We must say why we need it when we collect it.
  • Personal data should be kept no longer than necessary for that purpose.
  • You have the right to access your personal data, get a copy of it, and ask for it to be updated, deleted, restricted or moved to another organisation.

We process and store personal data only with trusted, data-protection compliant providers. We keep customer and correspondence records for up to 6 years unless your account is deleted. If your account is deleted, we dispose of your data in line with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, and will not keep it for longer than 60 days.

If you are in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), although we would appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns first.

California residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) requires us to disclose the categories of personal information we collect and how we use it, the categories of sources we collect it from, and the third parties we share it with. We have explained these above.

California residents have the following rights:

  • Right to know and access: you may submit a verifiable request for information about (1) the categories of personal information we collect, use or share; (2) why we collect or use them; (3) the categories of sources we collect them from; and (4) the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to equal service: we will not discriminate against you if you exercise your privacy rights.
  • Right to delete: you may submit a verifiable request to close your account, and we will delete the personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to opt out of sale: you may ask a business that sells personal data not to sell yours. We do not sell the personal information of our users.

We will respond to your request within 45 days. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
